The Heir to the Throne


Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor, often called Wills for short when he was younger, is not only the heir to the throne of the British Monarchy, but he has also recently become a teenage hearthrob. Since the death of this beloved mother almost a year ago, teenagers around the world have come to love and adore those eyes that are his mother's legacy.


Prince William's world was turned upside down when almost one year ago his beloved mother was tragically killed in a car crash in Paris. Prince Willaim adored his mother, as did the the world. She was known as the "People's Princess" and now has been deamed "England's Rose." William used to go on frequent vacations with his mother in the Caribbean. He was extremely close to his mother, and often relied on her for advise and guidance through difficult periods he faced in his young life.


Princes William and Harry stood proud and humble at their mother's funeral. The funeral was viewed by people around the world. The shot of the two young princes and their father walking behind their mother's casket was and will be played over and over throughout their lives.


Princess Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, was given the honor of giving his sister's euology. In his euology he vowed to keep her sons from experiencing the media pressure that she did. He promised that he would help raise her sons the way she wanted them to be raised. That he would do everything he in his power to make Prince William the King that she wanted him to be.


In the year following the death of their mother the royal family and the Spencer family have kept the media away from the young princes. In a gesture seen largely as a favor to the media for staying away from the prince's private life, Prince William answered a series of written questions that were given to him. In which he stated that he disliked the media.


Also in the year following that fateful evening, the princes have become the topic of many books and teen magazines. Prince William also stated that he dislikes being adorned by teenage girls. To see what else Prince Willaim had to say check out my Prince William interview page.
